RESOLUTION NO. 79 - 57
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE THE TOTAL LENGTH
OF THE PUBLIC ALLEY FROH SIXTH STREET TO SEVE1\ITH
STREET BETWEEN ROSANNA AND HANNA STREETS.
~mEREAS, the alley from Sixth Street to Seventh Street
between Rosanna and Hanna Streets in the City of Gilroy is one
of the public alleys in said city, and the total length thereof
is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes
and should be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Gilroy that it does hereby declare its intention to vacate
the total length of the alley from Sixth Street to Seventh
Street between Rosanna and Hanna Streets;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be pub-
lished and said alley posted as required in the Street Vacation
Act of 1941, under which this proceeding is instituted, and
the 6th day of August, 1979, at 8:00 o'clock p.m., or as soon
thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, is hereby
designated as the time and place at which said City Council
shall hear any and all persons interested in or who may object
to the proposed vacation.
One publication of said notice shall be made in the Gilroy
Dispatch, a newspaper published in the City of Gilroy, at a
date at least ten (10) days prior to the time of hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July, 1979, by the fol-
lowing vote:
