RESOLUTION NO. 79-64
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ORDERING
REORGANIZATION INVOLVING ANNEXATION OF TWO PARCELS OF
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "SEWER FARM NO. 5
ANNEXATION 79-4 TO THE CITY OF GILROY"
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy as owners of two parcels of uninhabited
territory has initiated proceedings to reorganize by annexing said
territory for use as part of the new sewer plant; and
WHEREAS, an application for annexation of the said premises has
been filed with the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission,
and said Commission did make its determination upon the proposed re-
organization and has approved and authorized said annexation as proposed
pursuant to section 35000 et seq. of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS. pursuant to Section 35151 of the Government Code the
territory is to be reorganized without notice and hearing, and without
an election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: Under the authority of the said "Municipal Organization
Act of 1977", and Section 35312 of the Government Code of the State of
California, reorganization is hereby ordered involving annexation to
the City of Gilroy of the uninhabited territory particularly described
in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section II: The said territory hereby reorganized is hereby
designated as "SEWER FARM NO.5 ANNEXATION 79-4 TO THE CITY OF GILROY".
Section III: This reorganization shall take effect on the date
of the recordation of a certified copy of the certificate of completion

with the county recorder pursuant to Section 35354 of the Government
Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1979, by the following

and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of said
Lot 1, being the most westerly corner of "Sewer
Farm No. 3 Annexation 70-l3 to the City of Gilroy''.
as described in Resolution of the Board of Supervisors
of Santa Clara County adopted April l4, 1971, and
running thence along the boundaries of said Lot 1 and
said Annexation S.32015'E. 232.32 feet and N.57045'E.
66.00 feet to the most easterly corner to said
Annexation in the southwesterly line of "Sewer Farm
No. 1 Annexation to the City of Gilroy" as described
in Ordinance No. 616 of said City adopted November 10,
1959; thence along said southwesterly line S.32015'E.

and 2 as shown on said subdivision map; thence along

Ranchlot 51 as shown on Map No. 7 accompanying the
Final Report of the Referees in the Las Animas Rancho
Partition Suit, Action No. 5536 had in the Superior
Court of the State of Califo~nia, in and for the County
of Santa Clara, being also the most southerly corner to
"Sewer Farm No. 1 Annexation to the City of Gilroy" as
described in Ordinance No. 616 of said City adopted
November 10, 1959, and running thence S.32013'E.
66.26 feet to a point in the southeasterly line of said
