Resolution 1979- 71 '" . . -, .':F"_.'. .- RESOLUTION NO. 79-71 RESOLUTION REGARDING PASSENGER SERVICE OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD WHEREAS, the passenger service of the Southern Pacific Railroad is essential to the communities of the San Francisco Peninsula; and WHEREAS, the State of California, representing itself and the affected transit districts and various agencies, were engaged in good faith negotiations to arrive at an appropriate public support of the passenger service. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the members of the Inter- state Commerce Commission be urged to set aside the opinion of Administrative Law Judge Robert Wallace and allow the good faith bargaining to arrive at an amount which supports the passenger service.
