RESOLUTION NO. 79- 100
A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OP ENGINEER'S REPORT
PARKING DISTRICT NO. 2
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that
WHEREAS, on November 19, 1979, said Council did adopt its
Resolution No. 79-99 of Preliminary Determination and of Intention
to acquire and construct improvements in said City, and did refer the
proposed acquisitions and improvements to the Engineer of Work, he
being a competent person employed by said City for the purpose of having
charge and control of the acquisitions and construction of improvements
in and for said City of the kind described therein and did therein
direct said Engineer of Work to make and file with the City Clerk of
said City a report, in writing, all as therein more particularly
described, under and pursuant to the Gilroy City Code:
WHEREAS, said Engineer of Work has made and filed with the City
Clerk of said City a report, in writing, as called for in said
Resolution of Preliminary Determination and of Intention and under and
pursuant to said Code, which report has been presented to this Council
for consideration: and
WHEREAS, said Council has duly considered said report and each ana
every part thereof and finds that each and every part of said report is
sufficient, ana that neither said report, nor any part thereof, requires
or should be modified in any respect:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That the plans and specifications for the proposed
improvements to be made, contained in said report, be, and they are
hereby, preliminarily approved.
2. That the Engineer's estimate of the itemized and total cost
and expenses of said acquisitions and improvements and of the incidental

expenses in connection therewith, contained in said report, be, and it
is hereby, preliminarily approved.
3. That the diagram showing the assessment district referred to
and described in said Resolution of Preliminary Determination and of
Intention and also the boundaries and dimensions of the respective
subdivisions of land within said assessment district as the same
existed at the time of the passage of said Resolution of Preliminary
Determination and of Intention, each of which subdivisions have been
given a separate number upon said diagram, as contained in said report,
be, and it is hereby, preliminarily approved.
4. That the proposed assessments upon the several subdivisions
of land in said assessment district in proportion to the estimated
benefits to be received by such subdivisions, respectively, from said
acquisitions and improvements, and of the incidental expenses thereof,
as contained in said report, be, and they are hereby, preliminarily
approved.
5. That the maps and descriptions of the lands and easements to
be acquired, as contained in said report, be, and the same are hereby,
preliminarily approved.
6. That said report shall stand as the Engineer's Report for the
purpose of all subsequent proceedings had pursuant to said Resolution
of Preliminary Determination and of Intention.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of
November, 1979, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmembers: CUNNINGHAM, HUGHAN,
LINK, TAYLOR and GOODRICH.
