RESOLUTION NO. 81 - 111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY HONORING AND COH-
MENDING SERVICES OF E. E. BOSWELL, CALIFOPBIA HIGHWAY PATROL CAPTAIN
UPON HIS RETlREHENT.
WHEREAS, Captain E. E. Boswell was appointed to the California
Highway Patrol on October L~, 1954; and
WHEREAS, Captain Boswell will be retiring after twenty-six
(26) years and three (3) months of service; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to honor CAPTAIN E.
E. BOSWELL for his many contributions both in law enforcement and
leadership to the community; and
vlliEREAS, CAPTAIN BOSWELL has faithfully and energetically
served the Hollister-Gilroy area and has been a credit to the Calif-
ornia Highway Patrol and the motoring public of the State of California
particularly in San Benito and Santa Clara Counties; and
vlliEREAS, the Gilroy City Council desires to take this oppor-
tunity to commend CAPTAIN E. E. BOS~mLL'S efforts especially in this
community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gilroy City Council
does hereby commend and honor CAPTAIN E. E. BOS\vELL for his conscient-
ious and loyal service to his fellow citizens, community and country
and wish him every continued success in his future endeavors.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1981, by the
following vote:
