RESOLUTION NO. 81-113
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY PURSUANT TO DIRECTION BY SANTA CLARA COUNTY
LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION WITH REGARD TO A
REORGANIZATION PURSUANT TO THE DISTRICT REORGANIZATION
ACT OF 1965 DESIGNATED AS GILMAN ROAD 81-8
OF THE CITY OF GILROY.
BE IT RESOLVED AND FOUND BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY. as follows:
1. That the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation
Commission. in accordance with the District Reorganization Act
of 1965. has done all things as indicated in its Resolution
No. 81-118.
2. That the City of Gilroy was duly designated the con-
ducting agency for further proceedings to reorganize the territory
described in said Resolution No. 81-118 and Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
3. That the City Council. as conducting agency. has also
duly performed the following:
a. The Council has initiated and completed reorgani-
zation proceedings.
b. This proceeding for reorganization is designated
as GILMAN ROAD 81-8.
c. The territory described in Exhibit "A" hereto is
,
ordered reorganized and is organized to include
the following changes of organization:
i. Annexation to the City of Gilroy.
ii. Detachment from the South Santa
Clara County Fire District.
d. The City of Gilroy. as conducting agency. reorganized
such territory as indicated above without notice of
hearing and without election. it being found and

\ concurred in that the territory described
in Exhibit "A" is uninhabited.
4. That the herein described reorganization and each
of the actions of the City of Gilroy herein described were in
full accordance with the District Reorganization Act of 1965,
Government Code Section 56322 which. is part thereof, and the
terms and conditions set forth in Resolution No. 81-118 of the
Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission.

DESCRIPTION OF GILMAN ROAD ANNEXATION 81-8 TO THE CITY OF GILROY:
BEING a portion of Lot 4 as shm-ln on "Map of the Elizabeth. H.
Martin Tract", which map was filed for record on October 20,
1894 in Book "F" of Maps at page 31, Records of Santa Clara
County, California, and being more particularly described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE
BEGINNING at the most easterly corner of "Leaves1ey
No. 4 Annexation 78-5 to the City of Gilroy" as
described in Resolution No. 78-70 of said City adopted
September 18, 1978, and running thence along the
northwesterly line of Gilman Road and the southeasterly
line of said Annexation S.64020'20'~. 207.25 feet;
thence along a curve to the right with a radius of
1000.00 feet, through a central angle of 21046'54" for
a distance of 380.16 feet; thence S.86007'14"W.
365.98 feet to an intersection with the line common to
the Ranchos Las Animas and San Ysidro; thence along
said Rancho Line S.31026'55" E. 269.77 feet to the most
northwesterly corner of that certain Parcel of Land
conveyed to the Santa Clara Valley Water District by
Deed recorded February 25, 1971 in Book 9231 at page 455,
Official Records of Santa Clara County; thence along
the northwesterly line of s.aid Water District Parcel
along a curve to the left with a radius of 883.00 feet,
