RESOLUTION NO. 81-20
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AFFIRM-
ING ON APPEAL RESOLUTION NO. 81-12 OF THE PLANNING
COMMISSION DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW
REQUIRED PARKING FOR MONTEREY PLAZA CENTER ON ADJACENT
LEASED RAILROAD PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, DON CAMPAGNA has filed an appeal in due form
from Resolution No. 81-12 of the Planning Commission of the City
of Gilroy denying a conditional use permit to allow required
parking for Monterey Plaza Center on adjacent railroad property
leased from year-to-year and notice of the hearing of said appeal
has been given in the manner required by law and the Zoning Ordi-
nance of the City of Gil~oy; and
WHEREAS, the said hearing on the appeal has been held on
March 16, 1981, at 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall at 7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, and evidence
submitted upon the said application and appeal from the findings
of the Planning Commission, the City Council finds:
(1) The findings of the Planning Commission are hereby
approved; and
(2) The Planning Commission did not err in denying the
conditional use permit.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 81-12 of the
Planning Commission is hereby affirmed.
