RESOLUTION NO. 81-90
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY PURSUANT TO DIRECTION BY SANTA CLARA COUNTY
LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION WITH REGARD TO A
REORGANIZATION PURSUANT TO THE DISTRICT REORGANIZATION
ACT OF 1965 DESIGNATED AS EAST FREEWAY REORGANIZATION NO. 81-3
OF THE CITY OF GILROY.
BE IT RESOLVED AND FOUND BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY. as follows:
1. That the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation
Commission. in accordance with the District Reorganization Act
of 1965. has done all things as indicated in its Resolution
No. 81-81.
2. That the City of Gilroy was duly designated the con-
ducting agency for further proceedings to reorganize the territory
described in said Resolution No. 81-81 and Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
3. That the City Council. as conducting agency, has also
duly performed the following:
a. The Council has initiated and completed reorgani-
zation proceedings.
b. This proceeding for reorganization is designated
as EAST FREEWAY REORGANIZATION NO. 81-3.
c. The territory described in Exhibit "A" hereto is
ordered reorganized and is organized to include
the following changes of organization:
i. Annexation to the City of Gilroy.
ii. Detachment from the South Santa
Clara County Fire District.
d. The City of Gilroy. as conducting agency, reorganized
such territory as indicated above without notice of
hearing and without election. it being found and

\ concurred in that the territory described
in Exhibit "A" is uninhabited.
4. That the herein described reorganization and each
of the actions of the City of Gilroy herein described were in
full accordance with the District Reorganization Act of 1965.
Government Code Section 56322 which is part thereof, and the
terms and conditions set forth in Resolution No. 81-81 of the
Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October. 1981

Beginning at the most easterly corner of that certain 67.076
net acre parcel of land as shown upon that certain Record of
Survey Map which was filed for record in the Office of the
County Recorder of Santa Clara, California in Book 74 of Maps
at page 33;
thence from said most easterly corner along the southeasterly
boundary line of said 67.076 net acre parcel of land S 57-53'50".E,
Ib20.25 feet to the point of intersection with the City limits
line as estimated by City's Annexation Luchessa Avenue Annexation
80-1;
thence from said point of intersection along the City limits as
esti~ated by City Annexation Luchessa Avenue Annexation 80-1
above mentioned and as estimated by City's Annexations Fourth
Southern Additional Ord. 1896, East Freeway Annexation 77-2
and East Freeway Annexation 79-5 to the point of intersection
with the northwesterly prolongation or the northeaserly boundary
line of aforementioned 67.076 net acre parcel;
thence from said point of intersection southeasterly along
said northwesterly prolongation and said southeasterly boundary
line of that 67.076 acre parcel of land S 32-05' E, 1198.70 fee~
to the POINT OF BEGINNI~G. Containing 68.51 acres of land
