RESOLUTION NO. 82 - 4
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY AUTHORIZING THE
GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION AND PAY~tfEN'l' r~OCEDURES.
WHEREAS, the Gilroy Golf and Country Club has determined
the need to construct a new irrigation system for the Golf Course;
and
WHEREAS, a loan in the amount determined by construction
bids will be secured from Bank of the West at 10% per annum with
annual payments of principal and interest for a ten (10) year period,
and funds will be budgeted for the first years paymentsj and
WHEREAS, funds required for the loan payments of interest
and principal will be generated from use at the Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate an official to
sign appropriate documents.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Gilroy C~lf and
Country Club will obtain bids for said construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Norman B. Goodrich, Mayor
be authorized to sign appropriate documentation to enter into said
loan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL\~D that the 1981-1982 Exnenditure
Budc;et of the City be amended $23,000.00 to pay for the first annual
installment of said loan and that the Gilroy Golf and Country Club
will generate sufficient funding for said loan payments.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 1982, by the
following vote:
