RESOLUTION NO. 82-86
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY APPROVING A TENTATIVE MAP FOR A
68 LOT RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION ON 14.59
ACRES ON THE WEST SIDE OF KERN AVENUE
250 FEET NORTH OF WELBURN AVENUE
WHEREAS, application TM 82-3 has been made by
RINGEL-ARITA CORP. to the Planning Commission for approval
of a tentative map for a 68 lot residential subdivision on
14.59 acres on the west side of Kern Avenue 250 feet north
of Welburn Avenue.
WHEREAS, after a public hearing the Planning
Commission has approved a Negative Declaration under the
California Environmental Quality Act and has passed Resolution
No. 82-32 in which it recommends approval of the tentative map
subject to sixteen conditions, and
WHEREAS, the Council has held a public hearing on
the application and has considered the Planning Commission
recommendation and the evidence presented;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Gilroy that;
l. The Negative Declaration is approved in that
the development will not have a significant adverse effect on
the environment.
2. The tentative map is approved subject to the
sixteen condi tions set forth by the Pla.nning Commission in
its Resolution No. 82-32.
