RESOLUTION NO. 82- 91
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION
OF CERTAIN ASSESSMENTS
RONAN AVENUE - LIMAN AVENUE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, that
WHEREAS, this Council is conducting special assessment
proceedings pursuant to its Resolution of Preliminary Determination and
of Intention No. Bl-93, adopted on October 5, 1981, as amended;
WHEREAS, Assessment and Diagram No. 4 in said proceedings should
be reduced from $75,224.68 to $-0-: and
WHEREAS, the assessments in said proceedings included an amount
to create a special reserve fund and an amount for bond discount, and,
because certain of said assessments were paid in whole or in part
during the cash payment period, the amounts attributable to said paid
assessments for reserve fund and bond discount will not be needed:
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS COUNCIL HEREBY DETERMINES AND ORDERS, as
follows:
1. That Assessment and Diagram No.4 in said proceedings be,
and it is hereby, reduced from $75,224.68, of which $14,292.69 was
~llocable to the reserve fund and bond discount, to $-0-.
2. That the assessments shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof by reference, all of which have been paid in
whole or in part, are hereby ordered reduced in accordance with the
amounts shown therein.
3. That the amount allocated for reserve fund in the Engineer's
Estimate in the Engineer's Report be reduced from $39,061.73 to

$19,236.63, that the amount allocated therein for bond discount be
reduced from $35,155.55 to $17,312.97, that the total contribution
remain in the amount of $208,700.00, that the total project cost be
reduced from $599,317.28 to $561,649.60, and that the balance to
assessment be reduced from $390,617.28 to $292,017.61.
4. That the Engineer of Work is hereby directed to make said
changes on the Engineer's Report of record in the office of the
Superintendent of Streets either on the face of the Engineer's Report
or by filing an amendment thereto.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regular1~ adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
Californla, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of June,
1982, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmembers: ALBERT, GAGE, HUGHAN,
LINK, TAYLOR, VALDEZ and GOODRICH.
