RESOLUTION NO. 82-104
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ADJUSTING AREA STORM DRAINAGE FEES FOR THE DEVELOP-
MENT OF PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION
COST INDEX
WHEREAS, a report of the Director of Public Works
demonstrates that based on the construction cost index,
current Area Storm Drainage Fees are inadequate to fund
capital outlay for the development of property and should be
increased as set forth below:
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
that the Area Storm Drainage Fees set forth in prior
Resolutions shall be amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2: OVERSIZE AND EXTENSION OF UTILITIES:

i. These rates shall apply to the first
10,000 square feet of a single family residential
lot, with rates for the area in excess of 10,000
square feet to be computed and paid at one-quarter
of said rates as they now exist or may hereafter
be amended, upon request of the developer.
ii. Should any such lot be split for further
development, the "off-site" area fees for the new
undeveloped lot or lots shall be computed and paid
at the rates then in effect.
