RESOLUTION NO. 83-6
P~SOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY APPROVING A TENTATIVE MAP FOR A
32 CONDOMINIUM UNIT SUBDIVISION ON 2,06 ACRES
ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF HECKER PASS HIGHWAY
AND MOREY AVENUE
WHEREAS, application TM 82-7 has been made by TOM KING
to the Planning Commission for approval of a Tentative Map
for a 32 condominium unit subdivision on 2.06 acres on the
northwest corner of Hecker Pass Highway and Morey Avenue.
WHEREAS, after a public hearing the Planning Commission
has approved a Negative Declaration under the California
Environmental Quality Act and has passed Resolution No. 83-4
in which it recommends approval of the tentative map subject
to seventeen conditions, and
WHEREAS, the Council has held a public hearing on the
application and has considered the Planning Commission
recommendation and the evidence presented;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Gilroy that:
1. The Negative Declaration is approved in that the
development will not have a significant adverse effect on the
environmen t .
2. The Tentative Map is approved subject to the
seventeen conditions set forth by the Planning Commission in
its Resolution No. 83-4, and the further condition that all
on-site utilities be undergrounded, and the developer shall

pay for one-quarter of the estimated cost of the diagonal
power line to be installed under the intersection as approved
by Pacific Gas and Electric and the City Engineer.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 1983, by
the following vote:
