RESOLUTION NO. 83- 49
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF CERTAIN
ASSESSMENTS AND REVISION IN COST ESTIMATE
EAST NINTH STREET ET AL. ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 83-l
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that
WHEREAS, this Council is conducting special assessment proceedings
pursuant to its Resolution No. 80-7l of Preliminary Determination and
of Intention, adopted on August 4, 1980, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the assessments in said proceedings included an amount
to create a special reserve fund and an amount for bond discount, and,
because certain of said assessments were paid in whole or in part
during the cash payment period, the amounts attributable to said paid
assessments for reserve fund and bond discount will not be needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS COUNCIL HEREBY DETERMINES AND ORDERS, as
follows:
1. That the assessments hereinafter set forth are hereby ordered
reduced, as follows:

2. That the amount allocated for reserve fund in the Cost
Estimate in the Engineer's Report be reduced from $99,393.82 to
$89,835.59, that the amount allocated therein for bond discount be
reduced from $49,696.92 to $44,917.80, and that the Total Project Cost
and Balance to Assessment be reduced from $993,938.29 to $979,600.94.

3. That the Engineer of Work is hereby directed to make the
forgoing changes on the Engineer's Report of record in the office of
the Superintendent of Streets by making appropriate notations thereon
or by attaching revised pages thereto to reflect said changes.
