RESOLUTION NO, 83-52
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR AND ACCEPTANCE OF A
PARK RESTORATION AND URBAN REFORESTATION PROGRAM
GRANT.
Upon recommendation of the Director of Parks &
Recreation. and good cause appearing therefor,
WHEREAS, application has heretofore been made by the
City of Gilroy for a grant of funds under the Park Restoration
and Urban Reforestation Program, and
WHEREAS, the City has been advised of its selection to
receive a grant of $20.000.00 under said program subject to
authorization by the City Council,
BE IT RESOLVED that the June 15, 1983 LETTER OF CERTIFICATION
of William E. Ayer, Director of Parks and Recreation, to the
California Conservation Corps is hereby approved and incorporated
herein by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the application for said
grant is hereby approved and acceptance of and expenditure of
the funds for the programs set forth in said application is also
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July, 1983, by the
