RESOLUTION NO, 83-54
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE THE
EASTERLY 10 FEET OF A 40 FOOT NORTH-SOUTH
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT ADJACENT TO THE
EASTERLY BOUNDARY OF TRACT #3398
WHEREAS. the Easterly 10 feet of a 40 foot
North-South public utility easement adjacent to the Easterly
boundary of Tract #3398 in the City of Gilroy is unnecessary
for present or prospective public utility facilities and
should be vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council
of the City of Gilroy that it does hereby declare its intention
to vacate the Easterly 10 feet of a 40 foot North-South public
utility easement adjacent to the Easterly boundary of Tract #3398,
as is precisely shown on a map on file in the Department of
Public Works.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be
published and said easement posted as required in the Public
Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law under
which this proceeding is instituted, and the 15th day of August,
1983 at 8:00 o'clock p.m.. or as soon thereafter as the matter
can be heard, in the Council Chambers. City Hall, 7351 Rosanna
Street, Gilroy, California, i.s hereby designated as the time and
place at which said City Council shall hear any and all persons
interested in or who may object to the proposed vacation.

One publication of said notice shall be made
in the Gilroy Dispatch, a newspaper published in the City of
Gilroy, at a date at least ten (10) days prior to the time of
hearing.
