RESOLUTION NO. 83-64
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION:TO VACATE THE PORTION
OF BANES LANE, EAST OF CHESTNUT STREET
WHEREAS, the portion of Banes Lane, east of Chestnut
Street, is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes and should be vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of
the City of Gilroy that it does hereby declare its intention
to vacate a portion of Banes Lane, east of Chestnut Street,
as is precisely shown on a map on file in the Department of
Public Works.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be
published and said street posted as required in the Public
Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law under
which this proceeding is instituted, and on the 10th day of
October, 1983 at 8:00 o'clock p.m.., or as soon thereafter as
the matter can be heard, in the Council Chambers, City Hall,
7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, is hereby designated as
the time and place at which said City Council shall hear any
and all persons interested in or who may object to the proposed
vacation.
One publication of said notice shall be made in the
Gilroy Dispatch, a newspaper published in the City of Gilroy,
at a date at least ten (10) days prior to the time of hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 1983,
by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
