RESOLUTION NO. 84-6
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN FOR THE
CITY OF GILROY
WHEREAS. after study and public hearing, the Planning
Staff and Planning Commission have recommended amendments
to the General Plan for the City of Gilroy and of the General
Plan Map, and
WHEREAS, the Council, after study and public hearing,
has approved the amendments set forth below,
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of
the City of Gilroy approves the following amendments to the
General Plan and Map of the City of Gilroy:
1. The application of JOSEPH A. FILICE, GPA 83-1,
for a General Plan change from Industrial Park
to Visitor Serving Commercial on APN 835-04-43.
2.01 acres on San Ysidro Avenue, north of
Leavesley Road.
2. The application of J. B. HOWARD and PAUL BERTUcCIO,
GPA 83-6. for a General Plan change from Rural
Density to Medium Density Residential and inclusion
in the 20 year planning area on APN 810-21-06.
22 acres at the southwest corner of Hecker Pass
Highway and Santa Teresa Boulevard.
3. The application of the City for LARSON, GPA 83-8(1).
for a General Plan change from Low Density Residential
to Medium Density Residential on APN 790-32-36,
0.22 acres at the southeast corner of Broadway and
Carmel Street.
4. The application of the City for MULCH. O'BRIEN
and ADAMS,GPA 83-8(2), for a General Plan change
from Industrial Park to General Services Commercial
on APN 835-01-08 through 21. 15 acres north of
Leavesly Road and west of Murray Avenue.

5. The application of the City for HARRISON.
GPA 83-8(4), for a Gener~l Plan Change from
Low Density Resident~al to Local Commercial, approved
