RESOLUTION NO~ 84-13
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY AFFIRMING ON APPEAL THE ACTION OF THE
BUILDING APPEALS BOARD DENYING RELIEF FROM
TITLE 24 HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY REQUIRE-
MENTS AT 430 FIRST STREE1'
WHEREAS, ANDREW TRINCHERO has filed an appeal
in due form from the action of the Building Appeals Board
of Gilroy denying relief from Title 24 handicapped accessibility
requirements at 430 First Street, and notice of the hearing
of said appeal has been given in the manner required by law; and
WHEREAS. the said hearing on the appeal has been
held on February 6, 1984 at 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall at 7351 Rosanna Street. Gilroy, California.
and evidence was submitted upon the said application and appeal
from the findings of the Building Appeals Board, the City
Council finds:
(1) The findings of the Building Appeals Board of
insufficient hardship are hereby approved; and
(2) The Building Appeals Board did not err in
denying the relief requested.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the action of the
Building Appeals Board is hereby affirmed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of rebruary. 1984,
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: ALBERT, KLOECKER, PATE,
VALDEZ and HUGHAN
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GAGE and MUSSALLEM
