RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL GIVING NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A FRANCHISE
UNDER ARTICLE III, CI-IAPTER 24 (COHMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEH)
~~EREAS, an application has been made to the Council of the City
of Gilroy by FALCON CABLE TV, OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA for a franchise to
install and operate in the City of Gilroy a Community Antenna Television
System under the provisions of Article III of Chapter 24 (Ordinance No.
759); and
~illEREAS, Section 24.42 of the said Gilroy City Code, the same
being a part of said Article III of said Chapter 24 of said Code, re-
quires that notice that such an application has been filed for such
franchise shall be given by publication in the matter for the period
required by Section 24.43 of said Code by publication in a newspaper
of general circulation in the said City of Gilroy at least twice, the
first publication to be not later than the tenth day immediately pre-
ceding the day of hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDER that the
2nd day of April, 1984, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall, 7351 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, be
and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for the public hear-
ing upon the application for the said franchise, at which hearing all
persons desiring to be heard thereupon will be given reasonable oppor-
tunity to present evidence or otherwise be heard in favor of or in op-
position to the granting of said franchise to said applicants, reference
being hereby made to the said application for full information respect-
ing such application.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall cause this
Resolution to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the

City of Gilroy at least twice, the first publication to be not later than
the tenth day immediately preceding the said date of hearing.
