RESOLUTION NO. 84-28
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY ESTABLISHING FEES FOR PUBLIC SAFETY
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the
Planning Department report on Public Safety Impact Fees
approved by the Planning Commission, which states the
necessity of establishing Public Safety Capital Improvement
Fees for needed Police and Fire Department capital improvements,
and the estimated cost therefore per acre of future development;
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE that the Public Safety Capital Improvement Fees shall
be set at seventy five percent of the estimated cost of
needed improvements as follows:
The Public Safety fee for the Capital Outlay Public
Safety Fund shall be $510.00 per acre for Fire Department capital
improvements, plus $1560.00 per acre for Police Department
capital improvements until further order of Council.
These fees shall be automatically amended on July 1
of each year in accordance with the Construction Cost Index for
the San Francisco area as published by Engineering News-Record
for the prior year.

GILROY this 16th day of April, 1984, by the following vote:
