RESOLUTION NO. 84-49
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY CERTIFYING THE ENVIRO~~mNTAL
IMPACT REPORT FOR INCLUSION IN THE 20 YEAR
PLANNING AREA AND A PROPOSED GENERAL PLAN
AME1IDMENT BY ED MARTIN
WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearings
as required by law. the Planning Commission of the City
of Gilroy has recommended by its Resolution No. 84-27
that the City Council certify the Environmental Impact Report
for inclusion in the 20-year planning area and a proposed
general plan amendment by Ed Martin changing land use on
approximately 440 acres of land bounded by Fitzgerald Avenue.
Day Road. Monterey Highway and Santa Teresa Boulevard. and
WHEREAS. the City Council, after examining the
report finds that it does adequately meet the requirements
of the California Environmental Quality Act,
BE IT RESOLVED. that the Environmental Impact
Report prepared by Terra Sol. Limited. for the above described
project be certified as a final report meeting all the
requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of June. 1984. by
the following vote:
