MORGAN HILL RESOLUTION NO. 1923
JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCILS OF GILROY
AND MORGAN HILL ACCEPTING FOR CONSIDERATION THE
WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT ALTERNATIVE ANALYSIS AND .
LONG-TERM PLAN DRAFT PROJECT REPORT FOR GILROY
AND MORGAN HILL AND THE CITIZENS' SEWER ADVISORY
COMMITTEE REPORT.
tffiEREAS, a Joint Special Meeting of the Councils of
the cities of Gilroy and Morgan Hill has been duly called
and noticed for this date at the Gilroy City Hall for
receiving presentations of (1) the July 1984 Wastewater
Management Alternative Analysis and Long-Term Plan Draft
Project Report for Gilroy and Morgan Hill prepared by
James M. Montgomery, Consulting Engineers, Inc., and (2) the
Joint Citizens' Sewer Advisory Committee Report recommending
long-term solutions to sewage disposal problems, and
WHEREAS, the two reports have been presented to both
Councils by Christopher Cain of Montgomery Engineers and
Edward J. Lazzarini as Chairmc;LU of the Citizens Committee. and
WHEREAS, the members of both Councils have discussed
and given preliminary consideration to the reports and the
alternatives presented therein.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT JOINTLY RESOLVED by the Councils
of the cities of Gilroy and Morgan Hill that the Wastewater
Management Alternative Analysj~s and Long-Term Plan Draft
Project Report for Gilroy and Morgan Hill and the Citizens'

Sewer Advisory Committee Report be accepted for further
consideration of the alternatives presented for long-term
wastewater management.
PASSED AND ADOPTED July 9. 1984 at a Joint Special
Meeting of both City Councils in Gilroy. California.
