RESOLUTION ~O. 85 - 14
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY COl~NDING SERVICES
OF MR. THO}1AS J. SANCHEZ, SENIOR PUBLIC WORKS l1AINTENANCE.
~~EREAS, Mr. Thomas J. Sanchez has been employed by the City of
Gilroy for over three decades; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Sanchez has declared to retire from the City of
Gilroy; and
WHEREAS, Thomas J. Sanchez has served as an employee in the
Public Works Department since 1953; and
WHEREAS, during his long period of service, always performed his
duties conscientiously, honestly and with the best interests of the
City of Gilroy; and
w~EREAS, Mr. Sanchez has always been a helpful and willing em-
ployee; and
\~EREAS, the Gilroy City Council desires to take this opportunity
to commend Mr. Sanchez's past services to the City of Gilroy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gilroy City Council
does hereby comment and honor Mr. Sanchez for his conscientious and
faithful service during his tenure with the City of Gilroy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we do hereby extend our best wishes
to Thomas J. Sanchez and his family for continued success and happiness.
