Resolution 1985-31 . . RESOLUTION NO. 85 - 31 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DEDICATING HALL OF FAME. WHEREAS, outstanding and distinguished citizens have been honored for their lifetime of special affirmative contributions to the enrichment of Gilroy by their induction into the Gilroy Hall of Fame; and WHEREAS, their creativity, inspiration, resourcefulness, dedication, volunteerism, philanthropy, leadership, courage, and pioneering spirit played a significant role in the progress of Gilroy; and WHEREAS, their individual contributions to the community and civic betterment, collectively forged the fundamental ele- ments of Gilroy's unique and colorful historic past. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that upon the recommendation of the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame Committee in con- junction with the City Library and Culture Comnission, the Council of the City of Gilroy dedicates this memorial located in the City Hall Lobby in honor and memory of those outstanding citizens enshrined in the Gilroy Hall of Fame.
