RESOLUTION NO. 85 - 33
RESOLUTION AMENDING RATES AND CHARGES OF THE COMMUNITY ANTENNA
TELEVISION SYSTEM.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Gilroy that the following amended schedule of rates and
charges filed as required by Sections 24.81 to 24.86 of
the Gilroy City Code are hereby approved pursuant to
Section 3 of Ordinance No. 779.
INSTALLATION CHARGES
Residential and Normal Commercial
Installation:
Initial Installations
Additional outlet
Relocation, reconnection or reinstallation
Non-pay disconnection
Schools, City Buildings, Hotels, Motels,
Apartments, Multiple Units, Mobile Home
Parks, etc., and Television Dealers &
Service Shops:
Installation charges based on actual cost
of time plus material

NOTE: Privately installed and owned
distribution systems on private property
must meet all required standards set forth
in city ordinances and F.C.C. regulations.
Deposits:
All residential and commercial customers shall be
required to pay a $10.00 deposit at the time of installation.
Deposits on multiple unit installations shall be based
proportionally on the number of units and monthly rate. Deposit
for cable service shall be returned without interest to
customers when their accounts are closed and afte~ deduction
of any unpaid service charges; provided, that if the customer
cannct be located for six months after termination of service,

the deposit shall be forfeited. Customers with established
credit or who pay service charges one year in advance may be
excused from deposit requirements.

EXTRAORDINARY CHARGES
For unusual circumstances such as to install underground
cable, to install more than one hundred fifty (150) feet of
cable from service connection to subscriber, for extensions
on present outlets, to transfer outlets or cable to a
different location on the same premises, to install electronic
passive devices or deluxe type outlet receptacles, or to
prewire multiple outlets on residential and commercial units,
an additional installation charge over that normally charged
will be made on the basis of actual cost of labor and materials.
All easements shall be furnished or paid for by subscriber~
