RESOLUTION NO. 85-42
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIRE PROTECTION
WORK PERIODS UNDER THE 'FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT.
WHEREAS, the Pair Labor Standards Act has been held
to apply to the City of Gilroy as of April 15, 1985, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to specify "work periods"
for those employees who do not work the usual 40 hour work
week,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Gilroy that under the 7(k) exemption of the
Fair Labor Standards Act, the work periods as of 8:00 a.m.
April l5, 1985, for these specified employees are as follows:

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of July 1985,
by the following vote;
