RESOLUTION NO. 85- 55
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO
MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
LAS ANIMAS TECHNOLOGY PARK ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that the public interest, convenience and necessity require, and that it
is the intention of said Council to change and modify the proceedings
undertaken pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 82-13 to Acquire and
Construct Improvements, adopted on February l, 1982, as amended, by
providing as follows:
Said bonds may be refunded upon determination of the
City Council that the public interest or necessity
requires the refunding of the issue of bonds and the levy
of reassessments as security for the refunding bonds.
Such refunding may be undertaken by this Council when, in
its opinion, relief may be provided to the owners of the
property assessed from extraordinarily high interest rates
on said bonds to be refunded. Said refunding bonds shall
bear interest at the rate of not to exceed the rate set
forth in the resolution of intention to refund the issue
of the bonds, the last installment of which said refunding
bonds shall mature not to exceed twenty-four (24) years
from the second day of September next succeeding twelve
(l2) months from their date. Any adjustments to
assessments resulting from such refunding shall be done on
a pro rata basis.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, the l6th day of September,
1985, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the regular meeting place of
said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, 735l Rosanna Street, Gilroy,
California, be, and the same are hereby, appointed and fixed as the time
and place when and where said Council will consider the matter of making
said changes and modifications and hearing all persons interested
therein.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Director of Public Works of said
City, be, and he is hereby, designated as the person to answer inquiries
regarding any protest proceedings and may be contacted during regular
office hours at the City Hall, 735l Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California
95020, or by calling (408) 842-9321.

The City Clerk of said City, be, and she is hereby directed to
cause a copy of this resolution to be published once in the Gilroy -
Morgan Hill Dispatch, a newspaper published and circulated in said City
and the newspaper in which the Notice of Improvement under said
Resolution of Intention, as amended, was published; said publication to
be at least ten (lO) days before said day of hearing.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of
September, 1985, by the following vote of the members thereof:

MUSSALLEM, PATE, VALDEZ and HUGHAN.
