RESOLUTION NO. 85- 64
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
PROTESTS IN RELATION TO PROPOSED REASSESSMENT
AND REFUNDING AND DIRECTING NOTICE
LAS ANIMAS TECHNOLOGY PARK ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
REASSESSMENT AND REFUNDING
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 85-56, A Resolution of
Determination and of Intention to Refund Special Assessment Bonds and to
Levy Reassessments as Security for the Refunding Bonds to be Issued,
adopted on September 3, 1985, by the City Council of said City, pursuant
to the Gilroy City Code, Reimer Associates has filed with the City Clerk
of this City the written report called for under said Code and by said
Resolution No. 85-56, which report has been presented by said City Clerk
to this Council for consideration, and this Council has considered and
preliminarily approved said report and ordered that the same stand as
the report for the purpose of all subsequent proceedings had pursuant to
said Resolution No. 85-56;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that Monday, the 2lst day of
October, 1985, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m, in the regular meeting
place of said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, 7351 Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, California, be, and the same are hereby, appointed and fixed as
the time and place when and where the Council will consider and finally
determine whether the public interest, convenience and necessity require
said reassessment and refunding and when and where it will consider and
finally act upon said report.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the City Clerk of this City, be, and
she is hereby, directed to give notice of said hearing once a week for
two weeks in the Gilroy - Morgan Hill Dispatch, a newspaper published
and circulated in said City and by conspicuously posting a notice
thereof on a bulletin board in or adjacent to the City Hall; said

posting and publication to be had and completed at least ten (lO) days
before the date herein set for hearing of protests.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that said notice to be posted and published
shall, in legible characters, state the fact and date of the passage of
said Resolution No. 85-56, and of the filing of said report and of the
date, hour and place set for the hearing of said protests, refer to said
Resolution No. 85-56, and report for further particulars and contain the
name and telephone number of a local department or agency designated by
the Council to answer inquiries regarding the protest proceedings.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the City Clerk of said City shall
mail, or cause to be mailed, notice of the adoption of said Resolution
No. 85-56, and the filing of said report, postage prepaid, at least ten
(lO) days before the date set for hearing of said protests, to all
persons owning real property to be assessed, whose names and address
appear on the last equalized assessment roll prior thereto or as known
to the City Clerk, which notice shall contain a statement of the time,
place and purpose of the hearing on said Resolution No. 85-56 and
report, a statement of the total estimated cost of the proposed
reassessment and refunding, the amount as shown by said report to be
reassessed against the particular parcel covered by the notice, together
with a statement that any person interested may file a protest, in
writing, as provided in said Code, a reference to said Resolution
No. 85-56 and report on file in the office of the City Clerk for
particulars, and contain the name and telephone number of a local
department or agency designated by the Council to answer inquiries
regarding the protest proceedings.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Director of Public Works of said
City, be, and he is hereby, designated as the person to answer inquiries
regarding any protest proceedings to be had therein and may be contacted
during regular office hours at the City Hall, 735l Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, California 95020, or by calling (408) 842-932l.

regularly adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the l6th day of
September, 1985, by the following vote of the members thereof:
