RESOLUTION NO. 85- 71
A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS
LAS ANIMAS TECHNOLOGY PARK ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
REASSESSMENT AND REFUNDING
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gilroy, California,
that
WHEREAS, this Council did on September 3, 1985, adopt its
Resolution No. 85-56, A Resolution of Determination and of Intention to
Refund Special Assessment Bonds and to Levy Reassessments as Security
for the Refunding Bonds to be Issued;
WHEREAS, on September 3, 1985, this Council adopted a resolution
appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the
proposed reassessment and refunding and directing notice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein stated in
the manner provided by law, as appears from the certificates and
affidavits on file in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the time
therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communications
were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring to be heard
were fully heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
l. That protests against said proposed reassessment and
refunding were not signed by the owners of more than one-half of the
area of land proposed for reassessment.
2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby overruled.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted and passed by the City Council of the City of Gilroy,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of
October, 1985, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmembers: ALBERT, GAGE, KLOECKER,
MUSSALLEM, PATE, VALDEZ and HUGHAN.
