RESOLUTION NO. 85-87
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY CERTIFYING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT FOR INCLUSION OF A PARCEL IN THE 20-YEAR
PLANNING AREA AND A PROPOSED GENERAL PLAN AMEND-
MENT THEREON BY HEALTH DIMENSIONS, INC.
WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearings as
required by law, the Planning Commission of the City of
Gilroy has recommended by its Resolution No. 85-27 that
the City Council certify the Environmental Impact Report
for the application of HEALTH DIMENSIONS, INC. for inclusion
in the 20-year planning area and a proposed general plan
amendment changing land use on approximately 38.57 acres of
land east of Highway 101, south of Cohansey Avenue and north
of Las Animas Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after examining the report
finds that with additional mitigation measures, it does
adequately meet the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Environmental Impact Report
prepared by Ruth and Going, for the above described project,
and the mitigation measures in the Mayor's memorandum of
December 12, 1985 to the Council, be certified as a final

report meeting the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act.
