RESOLUTION NO. 86-7
RESOLUTION Of THE COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF
GILROY PROHIBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF
WELBURN AVENUE AND RANCHO REAL IN THE
CITY OF GILROY.
WHEREAS, Welburn Avenue between Ousley Drive
and Mantelli Drive and Rancho Real near Welburn Avenue
are of insufficient width to accommodate pa.rking on both
sides of the street, and
WHEREAS, parking on the north side of a portion
of Welburn Avenue and the east side of a portion of Rancho
Real should be prohibited to promote public safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That all parking is prohibited on the north side
of Welburn Avenue between 150 feet west of Ousley Drive and
Mantelli Drive and on the east side of Rancho Real between
Welburn Avenue and 200 feet south of Welburn Avenue.
That the City Administrator shall install signs
or markings prohibiting such parking.
