RESOLUTION NO. 86-22
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL
PLAN FOR THE CITY OF GILROY
WHEREAS, after study and public hearing, the
Planning Staff and Planning Commission have recommended
amendments to the General Plan for the City of Gilroy and
of the General Plan Map, and
WHEREAS, the Council, after study and public hearing,
has approved the amendments set forth below,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council
of the City of Gilroy approves the following amendments to
the General Plan and Map of the City of Gilroy:
1. The application of VICTOR MARQUEZ,GPA 85-6
for a General Plan change from Industrial
Park to Visitor Serving Commercial on
APN 835-04-02, 2.0 acres north of Leaves1ey
Road and east of San Ysidro Avenue.
2. The application of the CITY OF GILROY,
GPA 86-1, for a General Plan change from
General Industrial to General Services
Commercial on APN 841-66-018, 8.54 acres on
the east side of Chestnut Street south of
Tenth Street.
3. The application of the CITY OF GILROY, GPA 84-2,
for General Plan changes to the Housing
Element Citywide.
4. The application of GILROY FOODS, GLEN-LOMA
CORP. and NORTON FARMS to include 286.3 acres in
the General Plan Area and designate the property
General Industrial, both approved, and include
the property within the 20 year planning area,
approved as to 25 acres of GILROY FOODS and as to
the northern one-third of the NORTON FARMS property
on APN 841-17-04 south of Pacheco Pass Highway
and west of Miller Slough,GPA 85-4
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1986,
