RESOLUTION NO. 87-32
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
AUTHORIZING COMMENCEMENT OF E~INENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS
TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF TENTH
AND CHURCH STREETS, ORDERING NOTICE TO THE LANDOWNERS
AND SETTING A HEARING
Upon recommendation of the City Engineer, and good
cause appearing therefor,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY:
(1) That eminent domain proceedings to acquire
property for proper turn radius for traffic at the northeast
corner of Tenth and Church Streets appear to be necessary due
to the state of the title and multiple owners of said property.
(2) That the City Clerk is directed to notice all
known landowners pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section
1245.235.
(3) That written requests to appear and be heard will
be heard by the Council at its regular meeting of June 1, 1987
at 8:00 p.m.
