RESOLUTION NO, 87-36
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN FOR THE
CITY OF GILROY
WHEREAS, after study and public hearing, the Planning
Staff and Planning Commission have recommended amendments to
the General Plan for the City of Gilroy and of the General
Plan Map, and
WHEREAS, the Council, after study and public hearing,
has approved the amendments set forth below,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Gilroy approves the following amendments to the General
Plan and Map of the City of Gilroy:
1.
The application of WILLIAM LYO.N COMPANY, GPA 86-3,
to include 58.1 acres in the General Plan Area
designated as Low Density Residential, and to
include the parcel in the 20-year planning area,
being APN 783-16-20 (formerly 783-16-ll) on the
southwest corner of Day Road and Santa Teresa Boulevard,
The application of AL FORTINO~ GPA 86-5, for a General
Plan change from Hillside Residential and Low Density
Residential to Low Density Residential and to include
the 7.7 acre parcel in the 20 year planning area,
being APN 810-29-l0, II and 12between Mesa Road and
Santa Teresa Boulevard east of Thomas Road.

The application of CITY OF GILROY, GPA 86-6, for a
General plan change from Medium Density Residential
to Low Density Residential on IS acres, being
APN 808-01-008 east of Santa Teresa Boulevard, west of
Laurel Drive and between Cypress Court and Uvas Creek.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May 1987, by the
