RESOLUTION NO. 87-63
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY SUPPORTING THE PROGRAM AND RECOMMENDATIONS
ENTITLED "OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION 1 A PROGRAM FOR
SANTA CLARA COUNTY".
WHEREAS~ after a year long study, an eleven member
task force appointed by the Board of Supervisors has prepared
and submitted a report entitled "OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION: A
PROGRAM FOR SANTA CLARA COUNTY" by the Preservation 2020 Task
Force issued April 1987, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Staff recommends support of
the program and recommendations contained therein~ and good
cause appearing therefor,
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of
the City of Gilroy approves and supports the program and
recommendations set forth in "OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION: A
PROGRAM FOR SANTA CLARA COUNTY" with no modifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September 1987,
by the following vote:
