RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING PRETREATMENT FEES FOR INDUSTRIAL SEWER
SERVICE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
CALIFORNIA, that pursuant to the provisions of Gilroy City Code
section 19.106(b), the City Council does hereby establish the
following rates for Sanitary Sewer Service.
1. PERMIT FEE
a. For all industrial users discharging
only domestic wastewater with BOD
and SS less than 300 mg/l each, with
an average daily flow of less than
500 gallons/day, and with no hazardous
materials stored, handled or processed
on the premise. (Insignificant User
Yearly Fee).
$20/yr.
b. For all industrial users other than item #a
listed above. (Significant User Yearly Fee). $200/yr.
c. Provisional permit fee for all industrial
users in items #a and #b listed above.
(One time processing fee for all Significant
and Insignificant Users). $20
2, INSPECTION FEE
Activities shall include time for inspection,
monitoring, travel, reports, research, con-
sulting, paper work and any office time that .
relates to the industrial user. $35/person-hour
+ Actual
analysis cost
3. SURCHARGE
a. BOD in excess of 300 mg/l
b. SS in excess of 300 mg/l
$0.90/lb. of BOD
$0.22/lg. of BOD
