RESOLUTION NO. 88 - 37
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY APPROVING COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENT NO. 4-1176-C TO PROVIDE FOR MODIFICATION THE EXISTING TP~FFIC CONTROL
SIGNAL AND PERFORMING ROADWORK AT THE INTERSECTION OF WELBURN AVENUE WITH STATE
HIGHWAY 152 IN THE CITY OF GILROY.
WHEREAS, the State of California through its Business, Transportation and
Housing Agency, Department of Transportation, has presented a Cooperative Agreement
to provide for modifying the existing traffic control signal and performing
roadwork at the intersection of Welburn Avenue with State Highway Route 152
(Leavesley Road and Monterey Street) in the City of Gilroy, dated June 6, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said Agreement in full and is
familiar with the contents thereof.
NOW. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Gilroy
that said Cooperative Agrement is hereby appoved and the Mayor and the City Clerk
are directed to sign the same on behalf of the said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 1988, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GAGE, HALE, KLOECKER, MUSSALLEM, PALMERLEE, VALDEZ
and HUGHAN.
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
