RESOLUTION NO. 88 - 65
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY COMMENDING SERVICES OF MR.
JOHN HOLSON.
WHEREAS, Mr. John Holson has been employed by the City of Gilroy for
13 years' and
WHEREAS, Mr. Holson has declared to retire from the City of Gilroy;
and
WHEREAS, John Holson has served as an employee in the Public Works
Department since 1975; and
WHEREAS, during his long period of service, always performed his
duties conscientiously, honestly and with the best interests of the City of Gilroy;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Holson has always been a helpful and willing employee;
and
WHEREAS, the Gilroy City Council desires to take this opportunity to
commend Mr. Holson's past services to the City of Gilroy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Gilroy City Council does
hereby commend and honor Mr. Holson for his conscientious and faithful service
during his tenure with the City of Gilroy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we do hereby extend our best wishes to
John Holson and his family for continued success and happiness.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of November, 1988, by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GAGE, HALE, KLOECKER, MUSSALLEM, PALMERLEE,
VALDEZ and HUGHAN.
