RESOLUTION NO. 88 - 68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING A 1988-1991 HOUSING
ASSISTANCE PLAN.
WHEREAS, in 1974, the United States Congress enacted the Housing and
Community Development Blocks Grants where such Counties enter into a Joint
Exercise of Powers and Cooperation Agreement with nonentitlement cities to
qualify as an Urban County applicant under the Act; and
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy has entered into such an agreement with the
County of Santa Clara and said agreement requires each participating City to
adopt a Housing Assistance Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Gilroy adopts the
proposed 1988-1991 Housing Assistance Plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November, 1988, by the following vote:
