RESOLUTION NO, 89-43
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY PURSUANT TO DIRECTION BY SANTA CLARA
COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION WITH
REGARD TO A REORGANIZATION PURSUANT TO THE
DISTRICT REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1965 DESIGNATED AS
GILMAN ROAD REORGANIZATION 87-3.
BE IT RESOLVED AND FOUND BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GILROY, as follows:
1. That the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation
Commission, in accordance with the District Reorganization Act
of 1965, has done all things as indicated in its Resolution
No. 88-06.
2, That the City of Gilroy was duly designated the con~
ducting agency for further proceedings to reorganize the territory
described in said Resolution No.88-06 and Exhibit "All attached
hereto and incorporated herein.
3. That the City Council, as conducting agency, has
also duly performed the following;
a. The Council has initiated and completed
reorganization proceedings.
b. This proceeding for reorganization is designated
as, GILMAN ROAD REORGANIZATION 87-3.
c. The territory described in Exhibit "A" hereto
is ordered reorganizad and is organized to
include the following changes of organization:
i. Annexation to the City of Gilroy.
ii. Detachment from the South Santa
Clara County Fire District.
d. The City of Gilroy, as conducting agency, reorganized
such territory as indicated above without notice
of hearing and without election,it being found and

concurred in that the territory described
in Exhibit "A" is uninhabited.
4. That the herein described reorganization and
each of the actions of the City of Gilroy herein described were
in full accordance with the District Reorganization Act of
1965, Government Code Section 56322 which is part thereof, and
the terms and conditions set forth in Resolution No. 88-06
of the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August., 1989
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GAGE, HALE, KLOECKER, MUSSALLEM,
VALDEZ and HUGHAN

EXHIBIT A
GILMAN ROAD REORGANIZATION NO. 87-3
A portion of that parcel of land described in the deed to
the City of Gilroy, California recorded in Book K 187, page
1118, Official Records of Santa Clara County, California,
and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning for reference at the southeasterly corner of
Leavesley No.4 Annexation 78-5 on the northerly line of
Gilman Road Annexation 81-8, thence along the northern line
of said Gi.lman Road Annexation 81-8, N 640 181 22" E, 20.10
feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N 31022'50" W,
. 99.93 feet; thence N 58037'10"E, 100.00 feet; thence S 310
221 50" E, 100.00 feet to the northerly line of said Gilman
Road Annexation 81-8; thence along said northerly line, S
580 37' 10" W, 99.32 feet and S 64018'22" W, 0.68 feet to
the point of beginning and containing 0.23 acres more or
less.
