RESOLUTION NO. 89-49
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY BILL 4 FOR THE PROCUREMENT
OF RECYCLED GOODS BY STATE AGENCIES
WHEREAS, solid waste management issues are of prime
importance in our future, and maintaining a market for
recycled goods is necessary for a stable and continuing
recycling program, and good cause appearing therefor,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of
the City of Gilroy approves and supports Assembly Bill 4
for the procurement of recycled goods by state agencies,
and endorses passage of such state legislation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of October 1989,
by the following vote:
