RESOLUTION NO. 89 - 57
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY FOR AND IN SUPPORT OF THE FEMA
APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDS FOR THE 1989 NORTHERN CALIFORNIA EARTHQUAKE AND CERTIFYING
THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR AS THE AUTHORIZING OFFICIAL FOR TIIE EARTHQUAKE PROJECT
APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy desires to undertake project applications for
federal assistance to be funded from funds made available through FEMA as a result
of the 1989 Northern California Earthquake.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Administrator of the City of
Gilroy is authorized, on its behalf to submit project applications for said federal
assistance including any extensions or amendments thereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of October, 1989, by the following vote:
AYES:
COUNCILMEMBERS: GAGE, KLOECKER, PALMERLEE, VALDEZ and HUGHAN.
NOES:
COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: HALE and MUSSALLEM.
