RESOLUTION NO. 89 - 61
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY - PROCLAMATION OF TERMINATION OF
PERIOD OF DISASTER.
WHEREAS, a period of disaster presently exists in the City of Gilroy in
accordance with the proclamation thereof by the Council on the 17th day of October,
1989; and
(Director of Emergency Services and its confirmation by the Council on the
19th day of October, 1989); and
as a result of conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property
caused by earthquaske; and
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is
now deemed not to be beyond the control of the normal protective services,
personnel, equipment and facilities of and within said City of Gilroy.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Gilroy, State of California,
does hereby proclaim the termination of said period of disaster.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 1989, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GAGE, HALE, KLOECKER, MUSSALLEM, PALMERLEE, VALDEZ'
and HUGHAN.
