RESOLUTION NO. 90-35
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ADOPTING AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN DEFIBRILLATION
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Safety has recommended
adoption of an Emergency Medical Technician Defibrillation
Program for the City of Gilroy, and good cause appearing
therefor,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City
of Gilroy authorizes implementation of a program to train,
certify and equip the fire station personnel so that they may
defibrillate cardiac arrest/arrythmia patients as needed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June 1990, by the
following vote:
