RESOLUTION NO. 90-42
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL
PLAN TEXT FOR THE CITY OF GILROY
WHEREAS, after study and public hearing, the Planning
Staff and Planning Commission have recommended an amendment to
the General Plan Text for the City of Gilroy, and
WHEREAS, the Council, after study and public hearing,
has approved the amendment set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Gilroy approves the following amendment to the General
Plan Text of the City of Gilroy at Chapter 5, policy 22, page V-
3 :
"Commercial development other than visitor-serving
commercial uses associated with theme/recreation
parks and small neighborhood commercial uses, will
not be permitted west of Santa Teresa Boulevard."
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July 1990 by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GAGE, HALE, MUSSALEM, NELSON,
and VALDEZ
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: KLOECKER and HUGHAN
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
