RESOLUTION NO. 90-44
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN FOR THE
CITY OF GILROY AND REALIGNING THOMAS ROAD
WHEREAS, after study and public hearing, the Planning
Staff and Planning Commission have recommended amendments to the
General Plan for the City of Gilroy and of the General Plan Map,
and
WHEREAS, the Council, after study and public hearing,
has approved the amendments set forth below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Gilroy approves the following amendments to the General
Plan and Map of the City of Gilroy:
The application of GILROY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
for a General Plan change from Low Density
Residential and Park/Public Facility to Park/Public
Facility on 58 acres south of Uvas Creek between
Thomas Park and Miller Avenue, being APN 808-19-3
and 4.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Gilroy
approves the realignment of Thomas Road
and
the
intersection intersection of Tenth Street and Thomas Road
southwest of Uvas Creek as shown on IIFigure 8BII attached hereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July 1990 by the
