RESOLUTION NO. 91-6
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
SUPPORTING SENATE BILL 169 REPEALING PORTIONS OF SB2557
AND PROVIDING ALTERNATE FUNDING
WHEREAS, repeal of SB2557 is of prime importance to
cities and districts and maintaining adequate county funding
is necessary for stable and continuing county programs, and
good cause appearing therefor,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Gilroy approves and supports Senate Bill 169 as a
resonable solution to city-county funding and endorses
passage of such legislation .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of February, 1991 by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GAGE, HALE, KLOECKER, MUSSALLEM,
NELSON, VALDEZ and HUGHAN
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
