RESOLUTION No. 91-24
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY ESTABLISHING RATES FOR WATER SERVICE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY, CALIFORNIA, that pursuant to the provisions of Gilroy
City Code Sections 27.42 and 27.50, the City Council does hereby
establish the following rates for Water Service effective May 1,
1991:
1. Rates for metered water service shall be:
A) The following Base Rates:

1" 3.58 4" 119.65
1 1/2" 8.95 6" 242.61
Rates for larger meters will be established by the
Finance Department as necessary.
B) Plus the following charges per 1,000 gallons or
fraction thereof used per month:
RESIDENTIAL. (including each multi-family unit) and Irrigation

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Senior Citizens water
discounts be revised for primary water users 62 years or older
with an income of $18,600 or less per year upon filing a
declaration to that effect, as follows:
