RESOLUTION NO. 91- 74
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ESTABLISHING 1992 SALARY SCHEDULES FOR FIRE, POLICE AND
MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the City Council does establish salaries for City
officers and employees by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Memoranda of Understanding currently in effect
between the City and the bargaining units for police and fire
personnel each call for a two percent (2%) increase in salaries
effective January 1, 1992; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City to increase salaries for
management personnel in accordance with the increases for
bargaining units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the salaries for 1992 for
management, police and fire personnel as set forth in the attached
schedules, consisting of three (3) pages, are hereby approved and
established to be effective on January 1, 1992.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 1991 by the
following vote:

3.5% Educational Incentive ,available for thirty (30) college semester
units or 5% Educational Incentive available for sixty (60) college
semester units.
AS of september 1, 1989 2.5% increase for possession of the EMT I
certificate.
Uniform allowance $670.00 per year paid in July.
2.5% Bilingual pay based on Chief's approval.
